This page is a plain language summary of our Acceptable Use Policy. The full legal Terms of Service govern the contractual relationship; the AUP here describes the content expectations that flow from those Terms.

What ourdream is for

ourdream is an adult creative platform. It exists for users who want to:
  • Build, customise, and chat with original AI characters.
  • Generate images and short videos of those characters.
  • Share characters they’re proud of with the wider community.
  • Read, remix, and learn from characters other people have made.
If your use of the platform fits one of those, you almost certainly fit the AUP.

Allowed content

Within the prohibited list, users can freely create:
  • Original adult characters of any gender, body type, ethnicity, species (within reason), or background.
  • Sexual and romantic content between consenting adult characters.
  • Stylised violence, conflict, danger, and morally complex scenarios that serve a narrative.
  • Fantasy, sci-fi, supernatural, and historical settings.
  • Parody and “fair use” homages that evoke a vibe without copying a specific protected character.

Prohibited content

A short list. See Prohibited content for the full ruleset and edge cases:
  • Anything depicting, implying, or recognisably resembling minors
  • Real people, alive or recently deceased
  • Existing intellectual property (named characters, named worlds)
  • Non-consensual sexual scenarios where the AI character has no agency
  • Hate content framed as personality or instruction
  • Bestiality involving non-anthropomorphic animals
  • Scat, vomit, or vore as sexual fetish
  • Depictions of religious figures (Jesus, Allah, Mohammed)

Account-level rules

Beyond content, the AUP also covers behaviour:
  • One person, one account.
  • No automated scraping, mass-extraction, or bulk re-publication of community content.
  • No attempts to evade moderation through encoding, language switching, or repeated near duplicate submissions.
  • No use of the platform to harass, dox, or impersonate other users.

Enforcement

Content-level violations result in the content being rejected or removed. Account-level violations escalate:
  1. Warning for first time or minor account level issues.
  2. Permanent ban for the categories in Prohibited content and for users who continue to evade moderation after a warning.
For content that involves real-world crimes (CSAM, threats, doxxing) we respond to law enforcement requests through the process in Contact. Account holders affected by enforcement actions can use the Appeals process.
